What is manifestation? How does manifestation work?

Great question.

Manifestation is the realization of the co-creation function within they human-Divine dynamic in order to create into reality the people, places, things and situations desired and aligned.
Manifestation has become a hot word in mainstream media and there are many tools out there to help you manifest. Based on my personal experience, here’s the ways in which I manifest in my life.
There are a few key ingredients to actually manifesting things that are in alignment for you.
You must have connection to a higher power
In order to manifest anything in your life, you must first believe that there is a greater energy out there that is not only listening, but actively supporting you. The more you believe this, the easier and quicker your manifestations of choice will be.
You have to ask for it.
There’s a common piece of scripture, “ask and ye shall receive.” and this is absolutely true. In fact, if you do not ask, you will not receive. While the Universe is primed and willing to support you, it will not overstep your free will. You must make your will known to the Universe through actually requesting it, in order to receive.
There is a caveat to this.
The request must also be in alignment with the highest good, with the Divine will for you.
Oftentimes people pray, or try to manifest….. And it just doesn't work.
This may be because the request itself was out of alignment, or more specifically, an ego-based request. If we are asking for a promotion because we wish to have more money, this is a position of gain. If you could instead reposition yourself from Love, and then make a request, the Universe is more inclined to listen and fulfill this request. An example of this would be to ask for a promotion because through the years of your hard work you have come to recognize your leadership abilities, quality of work, and feel you truly deserve it. This is a position of self-love and self-respect, rather than one of gain and getting.
In asking, you will want to be as broadly specific as you can be. You want to set your boundaries and point the direction, but leave room for interpretation.
Believe it will happen
Trust and faith in your higher power is the energetic fuel that allows your manifestations to become reality. When you truly believe that which you have asked for will arrive, it supports and encourages the energy to actually arrive.
Let it go
The final and hardest part of manifestation is surrendering the outcome. Surrendering to the will of God knowing that if it is in alignment it will happen, and if it is not it will not happen.
Additionally, surrendering when and how it will unfold.
The constant checking in on your manifestation and desiring it actually pushes it further away. We want to make the request and actively forget about it. Sometimes, the Universe has to orchestrate a large amount of energy in order for your wishes to actually come true, so letting go of a timeline knowing that Divine timing is unfolding. Additionally, we want to be open to God giving what we have asked for in the way in which he wishes for this to happen. God can plan and orchestrate brilliantly, way better than we could think up. Allowing room for the expansion or change of your manifestation, allows room for the greatest good to flow to you.
I often advise starting small with requests and making your way up to larger requests. This gives you a track record of God working in your favor and strengthens your faith. For example, ask in advance for a great parking spot for the show you are going to tonight. When you receive this, have gratitude, and try again. Maybe you are looking to make new friends that are in alignment with you, ask for new friends. Not all the friends that come your way may be a perfect match, but you allow the energy to continue to flow to you until you have made the match you are looking for.
Begin by opening the lines of communication, asking for what you want and having gratitude when you receive.
With love,
Kassidy
